This is the central garden in the Carlsberg Glyptotek museum (yes, the beer family). We went one day so the kids could sketch. They have a wonderful collection of sculptures, but also more contemporary French art as you see below.
We also went to the new Blue Planet Aquarium, which is in this amazing building:

Inside the new part of the Royal Library, which is a really amazing building right on the harbor. They call it the Black Diamond. You can eat in the library here. A great place to study AND you can grab a good coffee!

Here is a better photo of the Merman and his Seven Sons calling for their mother. Creepy every time.
Here's a shot of the Opera House from the water (we took a little boat tour). It is bigger than it appears in this photo!

Love the creepy statues under the water. I think we may need to steal that idea for the brook!
Vikings. Ahh.
Very nice architecture. Looks like a fun day.
These pictures are great! Just so wonderful that all of you are experiencing this slightly different culture from what's in the States. Is the ballerina sculpture above M4s head a Degas? Is it the original???? So many museums and cool places to visit! Love the kids in their Viking costumes.
I forgot to sign the previous comment. From Grandma if you couldn't guess.
Those mermen are creepy although that duck doesn't seem to think so. Very neat pictures. I just love seeing the different surroundings and you guys in them. Such a neat experience!
