I try not to shop at Walmart. I try to get what I need from our smaller businesses in town. But I was at Walmart picking up items difficult to find anywhere else, and I thought I would grab some Valentines for the kids to take to their classes. (No, I didn't have the kids carefully craft Valentines from paper doilies and construction paper. The past two weeks we're lucky if we get to eat together.)
So I got cat and dog themed Valentines. Safe enough. Today we opened them. And on the Valentines are messages like, "God is love" and "God made us friends." I quickly scoured the box they came in for any indication that these Valentines were trying to make us their mission project. None. Zero. Nice move, Walmart. They were returned.

I think many would disagree that preaching God's word is evil...
To quote Bernie Birnbaum (M crossing) "Look into your heart... "
I'd be ticked too. I love corny V day jokes. I am looking for this years NFL box :)
Have a great party M3. You are an awesome person!
Wait, let me see if I can stop laughing long enough to type a comment. I have had a couple similar experiences lately. For example, I'm wondering about the "real" goal of this BUSINESS networking luncheon I have been invited to today after doing a bit more exploring on the website. I might have to run out and do something sinful directly afterwards :)
Weird. Very misleading! Thou shalt not lie Walmart. Walmart stinks like poop, I try not to go there. Target is also evil, however, many overlook that because they carry neat stuff.
