Zoiks!
Someone is getting a bit shaggy around here! Wait, I think he's past shaggy... We're going to get it trimmed and cleaned up a bit Monday, but he doesn't want it cut! In the strange-parenting-experience file, M4 sleep-walked (is that the past tense?? slept-walked??) last night. He often talks in his sleep, but he was yelling and he called out for M3 and his friend H, then came barreling into our room. I don't think he ever really woke up as I took him back to bed. I'm just glad he didn't barrel down the stairs!

A hair cut won't hurt, but I say it's just hair. If M4 is cool with it, let that freak flag fly! One day he might be like me and wish he had any hair at all...
maybe a trim would be good....even surfer dudes need some stylin'. March...to the beat...of a really cool drummer....!!
Maybe instruct the hair cutter to trim up the back a little but leave the rest. Although I really love his expression of individuality!! Maybe if he protests on the trim, show him a pick of a surfer dude with nice hair and see if he goes for it then:)
