Nervous...

M3's spring concert was a week ago. She was a Nerve in the mini-musical they performed. For your viewing pleasure:

Tonight is M4's spring concert! In other news, M3 went to visit the middle school with her class today! *biting knuckles* Scary to think of her at the middle school! I had another yoga weekend which was really wonderful. Mark found out he was awarded this grant. Check out that hilarious press release, which was actually posted before Mark was even informed! Ah, the federal government.

On a much sadder note, I've been thinking a lot about a local family who tragically lost their son. Our whole town had been waiting and wondering since late January when he disappeared. I worked with his mom at summer arts camp, and they are just a wonderful family. My heart is really breaking for them. Kiss and hug your family! Right now!

What an excellent job, M3!!! I am so proud!! And her pronunciation of "disjointed" was so loud and clear!! That's my girl! Good luck to M4! Congrats to Mark -- what a hilarious press release. I would be confused too actually.

On the last thing...I can't imagine what it must be like to lose a child. Now that I have one, my last sentence seems to hold even more gravity and bewilderment for me. How do people cope? Impossible.

Thank you for sharing the video. Very fun....and, M3, you were a very cute bouncy NERVE, and did an excellent job at the microphone with your part!!
Congrats to Mark! You know, the science world is just such a mystery to the rest of the world.. maybe mostly to politicians. Well, as long as they fork over the grant money, do they need to understand?? Ha! Ha!
Looking forward to M4s pictures of music concert.

Way to go Mark- that is great news. I love the press release.

M3-you did an awesome job.
M4- Wish we were there...

I cannot imagine the loss either.

M3, you were terrific!

Congrats Mark! Although, like Sarah Palin, I'm always skeptical about that research going on with cigarette smoking fruit flies and it's dubious connection to human health. Over 300k to determine that fruit flies need to smoke at least 50 feet from a building entrance. I could tell you that for the bargain price of a pack of smokes and a rotten banana... ;)
