M3 even went so far as to bring one of her Manga books to the salon. I did explain to M3 that probably her hair wouldn't end up looking like Satsuki's exactly, so how about a cute short bob? Well, we all know M3 is a headstrong girl. To the stylist's credit, she laid open the book on her little table and tried to copy the picture on M3's hair. But this is what M3 ended up with:
I am sorry to report that she was again reduced to tears the next morning, saying she didn't want short hair anymore. At which point, of course, my heart broke for her first experience of haircut regret, and I sprang into action with a comb and a headband. So while her hair may not look exactly like Satsuki's, at least it doesn't look like someone's mom's either:

looks like you need some mousse. but it is cute! I think she will get used to it. i always have hair cut regret b/c my hair spazzes for a couple of days after i cut it. And then, i begin to love it. i commend m3 for being so brave and bold! she is like her aunt c. hahahaha! do the old burette in the front with a teased up back.

I thought the initial cut looked great, and I've also always been a sucker for head bands...AND kitty earrings. You rocked those earrings with your new do, M3.

I loooove your haircut! I would wear my hair short like that if it would stay flat-ish, but mine's too curly. :( Rememer: it's JUST hair! It will grow back before you know it, trust me. I have had many haircuts that I didn't like, and in time I've learned what works best for my hair. Anyway, your cut looks sooo cute!
