As you may know, I have some
free time these days. Perhaps worried for my sanity, my knitting fiend...er, friend...
Jenn gave me a "learn-to-knit" kit. I think I learned to knit when I was a kid (Mom? Did you teach me? I mean, who taught me?). Anyway, that skill was long dead until now! I am finding this knitting thing quite addictive!! So here is the beginning of my learning scarf:
Do you see the beautiful needles Jenn got me? And the yarn colors she picked?! Gee-yorgeous! And the prospect of being able to actually make something useful and cute is very, very satisfying. So look out, everyone! You may be getting knitwear for Christmas next year! Even if you live in LA!

The color is great. It looks like more scarves, mittens and warm socks will be needed in the near future.
Oh, how lovely! I hope you are more prolific than me at knitting. I knit half a scarf 2 years ago.
Great job M2! You make a mom proud! Yeah, I possibly taught you to knit at some time or other. Colors are beautiful! and very neat knitting! Makes me want to dig out the ol' knitting needles, too!
