What got the biggest cheer during the Grinnell Fourth of July parade?? The truck belonging to the most popular sweet corn growers in town, of course! Everyone was yelling, "When will the corn be ready?" Apparently in about two weeks. We are serious about corn here.

I miss good corn. In Baltimore, they cooked corn with Old Bay seasoning and here, it is rare to get anything really sweet or fresh. Potatoes- sure-
