On June 8, we dodged thunderstorms and made our way to Adventureland. For those of you who have been to Six Flags, Worlds of Fun, etc., Adventureland is woefully sad in comparison. But it is awesomely fun for small people!! Even those that find the ferris wheel terrifying. So M4 was actually convinced to ride the ferris wheel and the log ride and other rides that looked intimidating to him at first. But I think the teacups were his favorite...maybe the ladybugs.
Of course, M3 went on every roller coaster (including one that goes upside-down) and ride that throws you around in some fashion. I couldn't snap her photo on those since I was usually riding them with her.
Because it was rainy, we didn't have to wait in line for anything, and we didn't get sunburns! AND Adventureland issued us tickets to come back another day for free! As the kids would say, it was a SWEET adventure.

The pictures are great. I went on my last roller coaster a few years ago. Getting older and queasier is a bear.
Are you guys dry (dryish?)
Yeah, we are very lucky that we are in a high spot. Only a bit of water in the basement. Nothing like the rest of the state. We are thankful every day.
Wish I could have gone on the roller coaster with you, M3! Sure looks like you guys all had fun. M4looks pretty happy riding that "lady bug" ride! Glad you had a fun, fun time! Love, Grandma
I am very proud of M4 for being so adventurous! Yay! The ferris wheel can be nausea-inducing to some. I once got puked on by someone on the other side of the double ferris wheel. It must have hit a lot of people.
EWWWW...gross!!!
