Mystery Ride
Dari Barn just opened for the season (yahoo!!!), so we decided to take the kids on the traditional St. A. family Mystery Ride for the first absurdly large ice cream treat of 2008. Frustrated by his mother's overly elaborate efforts to throw him and his sister off the trail (I drove around too long), M4 said, "This Mystery Ride is DUMB!!" and buried his face in his hands.

I feel M4's pain. If it goes on too long the excitement starts to die.
Ah, the Barn. Made our first trip this weekend too. HEAVEN! Is it bad we wait all winter long for ice cream and then have to workout and complain extra all summer because we eat there too much? Oh well...life is to short to avoid the Barn!

You have to liven up the mystery ride with several false proclamations of your destination, then let them guess which one, and several fake turns.
